WE RAISE YOUTH AWARENESS
At Cura è Vita we have been in the area since 2016 and we are increasingly attentive to the needs of people, with particular attention to disabled people.
By guaranteeing nursing and medical assistance within the accommodation facilities thanks to its professional staff, we have decided to bring our experience to schools with a tourist and / or socio-health focus.
Much more than that, we want to raise awareness among third, fourth and fifth grade students who will one day be workers in the hospitality and social and health tourism industry.
Even today, children see disability as a diversity that makes them laugh.
Cura è Vita in schools , with the support of teachers, includes a series of meetings with students.
In one of these meetings the children will be placed in a condition of temporary pseudo-disability to arouse in them greater empathy.
Once they have put on the shoes of a hypothetical disabled client, they will realize how everyday life is lived for these people.
A SMALL DIFFICULTY FOR US STANDARDS CAN BE A HUGE DISCOMFORT FOR THE DISABLED
Not only that, at the end of the project the students will produce a protocol that will serve as a guideline in the management of:
– booking and / or management of the disabled customer for the tourism sector
– care management of a disabled patient in the social-health sector
Our mission is to make these good practices accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Together we want to rediscover the great value of our strengths to move independently and respecting the environment.
